Late Night With Conan Reveals New Tiger Woods Game Update

Even with news about the economy and the war in Afghanistan to talk about, one of the biggest stories in the past week has been the Tiger Woods car accident. There have been allegations of affairs, “suggestive” text messages, and Woods’ wife smashing out a window with a golf club — and that isn’t even the full story. Suffice it to say, it’s a goldmine for the writers working on late night shows.

Last night on The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, a video was shown of the new “update” to Tiger Woods’ videogame, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10. As you might guess before ever even seeing it, the footage isn’t actually from the latest edition of Tiger’s golf game, but is instead from Grand Theft Auto 4.

The bit actually ran on a bit longer on the show, with Conan and Andy Richter poking fun at the ludicrous “Where is Tiger!?” voice. Even though this was intended as a joke, I’m excited to see the PC mod scene actually make this a reality — maybe with the actual face of Tiger’s wife? I’d certainly play that.
